Hello Heartland Of Raider Nation, I pray all is well in our Raider Family. Believe it or not, we are down to our last 2 meetings of Raiders 2026. Off the field we are wrapping up the year with our Christmas raffle that will benefit the Bethlehem Center, and we need everyone’s support in selling raffle tickets. On the field our Raiders are currently 4 and 4, with the big Return To The Bay game this weekend. Heartland Of Raider Nation, on and off the field, let’s finish 2026 strong!

For those of you who cannot attend our meeting, I want to wish you and your families a very Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving. To everyone else I say to you, See You At The Meeting!!! GO RAIDERS!!!

At our November 12th meeting we will be kicking off our 36th annual Christmas raffle that will once again benefit the Bethlehem Center. Our club pays for the printing of the tickets and the cash prizes for the raffle, so that every dollar raised goes towards the Bethlehem Center. Cash prizes for the raffle are $500, $250 and $100.

To help make our raffle ticket look better and help us sell more tickets, we asked for donations for our raffle. We want to Thank the following for their donations: Johnny & Elisa Mejia $100, Dashawn & Sheketa Pryor $100, Juan Salinas $100, The Shelley’s $100, Orty Castillo $50, George Chavez $50, Boyd & Lori Gomez $50, Jeff Caviness $50, Roller Towne $50 Gift Card, Rick’s Vending $50 Gift Certificate. That gives our raffle cash prizes of $500, $250, 5 prizes of $100 and 5 prizes of $50.

ATTENTION: We have one extra $50 cash prize available for sponsorship if you and/or your family are interested. Please contact the club if you are interested.

The raffle will conclude at our Dec 11 Christmas Tailgate Party where we will be collecting tickets. To Thank our ticket sellers we will be holding 2 raffles. For every book of ten tickets you sell, you will be given 1 raffle ticket for our Thank You raffle that will have roughly 10 prizes. Your President is holding his own Thank You Raffle where all ticket sellers will be given 1 ticket for my cash raffle of $100, $50 and 2 prizes of $25.

Heartland Of Raider Nation, this is our big fundraiser and we need everyone to Please step up and help us sell tickets. If you cannot attend our Nov 12th meeting, please contact the club so we can get tickets to you. In 2021, even though we were still dealing with the pandemic, we were able to raise over $5,000, and every year since then we have sold more tickets than the year before. Last year a new Booster Club record was set of $8,063. Will we continue the streak of more tickets sold this year??? Heartland Of Raider Nation, Thank You For Your Support! GO RAIDERS!

On December 11th we will wrap up the year 2026 with our raffle ticket collection that will benefit the Bethlehem Center. We will also be holding a toy collection and undergarment collection for the Center. For every new toy and undergarment package you donate, you will be given 3 raffle tickets for our regular Raiders raffle.

When considering gifts to donate, please remember the older kids. Sports balls, board games and other gifts are needed for them. People always buy for the younger kids and the teenagers are forgotten. We will have a food collection for the Center as well (no raffle tickets for those donations).

At our Tailgate Party we will have our regular raffle, 50/50 raffle, silent auctions, vendors, kids activities, and DJ Abel will be providing the music.

POTLUCK: We will be having our annual end of year potluck, and we ask all that attend to bring their favorite main or side dish to share with your club. Our Booster Club will provide the desserts. Please remember to bring a serving spoon with your dish. Your club will provide plates, utensils, napkins, etc. Thank You to Johnny & Elisa Mejia who will be donating the soft drinks and water bottles for our potluck. The annual Tulare County Relay For Life was held on October 3rd and 4th at Tulare Western High School, and our Booster Club was well represented as always. Our team Raiders For A Cure raised close to $1,000 for the American Cancer Society.

We want to Thank our Team Leaders Norma & Blas Cisneros and Kim Anaya for their leadership of our team, and Thank You to Darrell Shelley for all his help in setting up and taking down our booth and for managing his grill the entire Relay selling his Darrell Dogs. Thank you to everyone who helped out at our booth, walked on the track, or donated a raffle prize for our booth.

ATTENTION: Once again our club had someone on the track every single hour of the Relay. No other club or group that set up a booth at the Relay can say that. Heartland Of Raider Nation, Thank You For Your Support! GO RAIDERS!

On December 13th the SCBCR (Steering Committee for the Booster Clubs of the Raiders) will be holding their 1st Raiders Home Away trip at Allegiant Stadium when our Raiders face the LA Chargers. We Thank our Raiders organization for offering us a block of 110 tickets in section 407, rows 5 through 10. All 110 tickets have been sold and we have received our tickets. Our Booster Club has 19 people attending and your tickets will be sent out to you. Our Raiders organization is working on a Saturday Fan event and will have more information on the event soon.

ATTENTION: We have secured a hotel group rate at the Orleans Hotel and Casino of $130, resort fees and tax included, for Friday and Saturday, Dec 11 and 12th, and a Sunday, Dec 13th rate of $40, fees and tax included. If anyone needs a room for Thursday or Monday the rate is $40. If you have purchased tickets for the game, please contact the club for the group rate code.

We are currently working on transportation to the game for Game Day and for the Saturday event. Heartland Of Raider Nation and The SCBCR, Thank You For Your Support! GO RAIDERS!

Our annual Raider Nation Blood Drive will be held on the Raiders bye weekend on Saturday, Dec 5th, from 8 AM to 3 PM. Our Booster Club will be co‑hosting at the Visalia Blood Center and the 559 Knights of the Shield Booster Club will be co‑hosting at the Jenny Eller Center.

The Blood Center, along with our Booster Club and the 559 KOS, have agreed that we should honor Coach Flores at this Blood Drive. The shirt design will feature Coach Flores and will be given out to all Blood Donors, plus all donors will be entered into a Raider raffle. Our Booster Club will be holding our own raffle for donors and supporters, and Darrell Shelley will be cooking his Darrell Dogs and chili. We will be setting up at 7 AM and can use help in setting up our booth.

ATTENTION: The Blood Center has informed us that our Raider Nation Blood Drive is a year long blood drive. Any time you can donate blood, or better yet donate Platelets, please mention at the registration desk that you want your donation to go towards the Raider Nation Drive. Please share this new information with all your Raider Nation Blood Donors who are not members of our club.

The Steering Committee for the Booster Clubs of the Raiders will be holding the 21st annual Commitment To Excellence award dinner on Saturday, Feb 20, 2027 at Michael’s Event Center in Las Vegas. The award dinner will honor the 2026 CTE award winner as chosen by his teammates. The award winner will be announced at the final Raiders home game on Dec 27th.

General admission tickets are $195, with all SCBCR members getting a discount to $170. There is a sponsorship table available, “Will To Win,” that seats 10 people for a cost of $3,000. This table receives recognition at the table and in the CTE program, and gets access to the VIP reception for the CTE award winner that includes food and drinks and photo opportunities with the award winner and other Raider alumni.

If you are interested in purchasing a general admission seat for $170 or a Will To Win sponsor seat for $300, please contact the club. We will hopefully have enough general seats purchased and Will To Win sponsorships to fill a table of 10. Heartland Of Raider Nation and SCBCR, Thank You For Your Support! GO RAIDERS!

Our 36th year as a recognized Booster Club of the Raiders is under way. We thank everyone who has renewed your memberships. Prices are $25 for a single membership, including one shirt. Family memberships are $35, includes 2 shirts. We do have ladies cut shirts available for ladies who do not want a regular t‑shirt.

ATTENTION: We will be taking orders at our Nov 12th meeting for special print shirts. We will be taking orders for club Hoodies, regular long sleeve shirts, sleeveless and long sleeve Dri Fit shirts with this year’s artwork on the back, and for Polos with our club pocket logo on the front. At press time we do not have prices available. Hopefully all shirt orders will be available at our Dec 11th Christmas meeting. Those of you who attend our meetings regularly at the Elks Lodge know our Raider bartender Corrinne. When possible she always requests the Elks to be our bartender for our meetings. She could do a lot better financially working the members bar, but she always would rather work our meetings, and we Thank her for that.

Corrinne recently suffered an accident and is unable to work for the next month or so. This is hard for her with the upcoming Holidays, especially with 2 daughters. To help her and to say Thank You to her for her loyalty to our club, we will be holding a collection for her at our Nov 12th meeting. Any donation amount is appreciated, and if you cannot make the meeting please contact the club. Venmo, Cash App and Zelle are available. Get Well Soon Corrinne and GO RAIDERS!!!

We have leftover bottles of Charles WHOOOO?!?!?! Woodson Intercept Wine from our CTE Award Dinner. Bottles cost $20 each, with all money raised going to the Maxx Crosby Foundation. On January 3rd, 2025 we lost a great friend and mentor to all Raiders Booster Clubs when Morris Bradshaw passed away. Morris was a 2 time Super Bowl winner with the Raiders and from 1989 through 2019 served as the Raiders Senior Administrator, Raiders Booster Club Advisor and head of Raiders Alumni.

His childhood friend Jeff Krumeich started a Morris Bradshaw Scholarship Fund in Morris’s hometown of Edwardsville, Illinois. A $2,000 annual scholarship will be given out at Morris’s High School to a player on the football team in Honor of Morris. On September 12th, 2025 a dinner was held in Morris’s home town to officially kick off the scholarship, and on Friday, September 13th at the high school football game, Morris’s high school number 19 was officially retired.

ATTENTION: On Monday, May 11th the 1st $2,000 Morris Bradshaw Scholarship award was presented to Yale Weaver. This was an emotional presentation for the Bradshaw family and they shared pictures with me and it brought tears to my eyes. I miss my friend, my mentor, my brother, but at the same time I am grateful that his memory will live on with this scholarship award.

ATTENTION: At our Oct 8th meeting we raised $50 and our Grand total is now $1,016. Heartland Of Raider Nation, We Did It! Thank You For Your Support! GO RAIDERS!

To help us pay for our meetings at the Elks Lodge, we have been doing a 50/50 raffle and holding silent auctions to help us raise money for our rent. If you have an item you want to donate for our silent auctions, please contact the club, but better yet bring it or them to the meeting.
