◆ President's Message Hello Heartland Of Raider Nation, I pray all is well in our Raider Family. On Sunday, September 13th, our Raiders will officially kick off Raiders 2026 as they take on the Miami Dolphins at Allegiant Stadium. Raider Nation officially kicks off Raiders 2026 with parties all over Las Vegas on Friday and Saturday, and the Heartland of Raider Nation kicks off Raiders 2026 on Thursday, September 10th. ◆ Raider Home Game vs. Chargers As mentioned in previous newsletters, our Las Vegas Raiders are offering the SCBCR a block of seats for the Chargers game at Allegiant Stadium on December 13th. Seats are in sections 406 & 407 at $150 each. As of this week we have sold 83 tickets, our club has bought 8, and we are working with the Orleans Casino on a group rate plus a shuttle for game day. ATTENTION: Our Raiders organization has kindly extended our deadline to purchase tickets, so if you are interested please contact the club ASAP. This is the first time the Raiders organization has offered us tickets to a home game, plus it is a division game. Heartland Of Raider Nation and the SCBCR, thank you for your support! | |||

◆ SCBCR Away Trip: New Orleans Our annual Steering Committee for the Booster Clubs of the Raiders away trip will be the September 27th game in New Orleans. We have 65 SCBCR club members attending, including 8 from our club. We have a Saturday night reception happy hour at the hotel, plus a Raiders raffle, a 50/50 raffle, and a few surprises we are still working on. ◆ SCBCR: CTE Award Dinner Update   On August 8th, after Raiders training camp practice, our SCBCR Commitment To Excellence Award Dinner committee finally presented Maxx Crosby our check from the proceeds of our 2025 CTE Award Dinner — $40,000, bringing our two-year total to $100,000 for the Maxx Crosby Foundation. Maxx is always very impressed with our CTE team, and we are grateful to support his Foundation. Please save the date — the 2026 CTE Award Dinner will be held Saturday, February 20th, 2027. ◆ Save The Date: Blood Drive Our annual Raider Nation Blood Drive will be held on the Raiders bye weekend, Saturday, December 5th. Our club will be co-hosting at the Visalia Blood Center, and the 559 Knights of the Shield Booster Club will co-host at the Jenny Eller Center. The Blood Center is designing Raider Nation shirts to give all donors. ATTENTION: The Blood Center has informed us our Raider Nation Blood Drive is now a year-long drive. Any time you can donate blood, or platelets, please mention at the registration desk that your donation should go toward the Raider Nation Drive — and share this with any Raider Nation donors who are not club members. ◆ 2026/27 Membership Drive  Our 36th year as a recognized Booster Club of the Raiders is under way. We thank everyone who has renewed your memberships. Prices are $25 for a single membership (includes one shirt), and $35 for a family membership (includes two shirts). We do have ladies-cut shirts available for ladies who do not want a regular t-shirt. ATTENTION: Once again, due to our decreasing membership numbers, we have a very limited amount of shirts available. We will do a second printing after our September 10th meeting for any sizes we are short on, so supplies are limited. If you cannot attend the meeting but would like to email your application and pay with Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, or Zelle, please contact the club so we can secure your shirts. ◆ Morris Bradshaw Scholarship    On January 3rd, 2025, we lost a great friend and mentor to all Raiders Booster Clubs when Morris Bradshaw passed away. Morris was a two-time Super Bowl winner with the Raiders and, from 1989 through 2019, served as the Raiders Senior Administrator, Raiders Booster Club Advisor, and head of Raiders Alumni. His childhood friend Jeff Krumeich started a Morris Bradshaw Scholarship Fund in Morris’s hometown of Edwardsville, Illinois — a $2,000 annual scholarship given at his high school to a player on the football team in his honor. On September 12th, 2025, a dinner in his hometown kicked off the scholarship, and on Friday, September 13th, his high school number 19 was officially retired. ATTENTION: On Monday, May 11th, the 1st $2,000 Morris Bradshaw Scholarship award was presented to Yale Weaver. It was an emotional presentation for the Bradshaw family, and the pictures they shared with me brought tears to my eyes. I miss my friend, my mentor, my brother, but I am grateful his memory lives on. Between our Tailgate party and our August 13th meeting we raised another $20, bringing our total to $951 — we are now $49 shy of our $1,000 goal. Heartland Of Raider Nation, we are almost there. ◆ Club Meetings To help us pay for our meetings at the Elks Lodge, we have been doing a 50/50 raffle and holding silent auctions to help us raise money for our rent. If you have an item you would like to donate for our silent auctions, please contact the club — but better yet, bring it to the meeting! Please remember our club charges a 4% Square fee per transaction — that fee is not profit, but the fee Square charges our club.
